Resume
Resume is used to represent the profile and qualification of candidates who have just begun their career. It contains less professional information when compared to Curriculum Vitae.
Usually, resumes will represent the following information

ñ  Work experience - Years of experience of the candidate should be provided in reverse order (latest experience to beginning experience) in the resume.
ñ  Skills and Achievements - All the skills and achievements of the candidates are represented in this part. This is very important to be mentioned for those who don't have enough working experience.
ñ  Personal Information - Personal details like name, father's name, address, mail address, contact number, blood group and other essential information should be provided at the end of the resume

Curriculum Vitae (CV)
The complete professional information of the candidate is considered as Curriculum Vitae. It has all the information that is found in Resume and the following details are added to it.

ñ  Honors and Awards - CVs are written for professionals who have immense experience and achievement in a field. It consists of the awards and recognition obtained by the candidate over the years of his profession.
ñ  References - Persons who can describe the achievements and merits of the candidate is referred in this section. Mostly clear contact information of the referred persons is mentioned here.
