Grass in a lawn grows equally thick at an uniform rate. It takes 24 days and 70 cows and 60 days for 30 cows to eat the whole grass meadow. What will be the number of cows that can eat the grass in 96 days?

Answer: 20

Method:

G = Initial quantity of Grass
R = Rate of grass growth in a day
Y = Rate of grass eaten on a day
N = The number of cows that will eat the grass in 96 days

g + 24*r = 70*20*y

g + 60*r = 30*60*y

g+ 96*r = n* 96 *y

Solving, N = 20
